Our History
Operating since 1991 as The Stafford Dental Practice , Taken over by Dr. Arthy Sankaran. July 2023 and the practice name has been changed to Shine Dental practice.
Arthy and her team, aim to provide dental treatment to the highest standard and do everything possible to ensure you feel welcome, comfortable and even a little pampered in our care. Our dedicated team listen to what you have to say and are happy to answer any questions so you feel informed and in control of your treatment decisions. We continually invest in the best , equipment, and technology to address all your dental needs with the most effective methods, from general and preventative dentistry to advanced cosmetic treatments. We also do our best to create a supportive and comforting atmosphere with you at the centre, to ensure you receive the care you need when you need it. Your dental health is our top priority. Through our use of modern, up-to-date treatment methods, and state of the art materials and equipment you will leave our practice with a healthy smile, time after time.

Arthy Sankaran
Arthy always wanting to be a healthcare professional , chose dentistry as it allows her to develop her most artistic side. Arthy worked in general practice honing her skills in her special interest areas, before becoming the the Principal dentist of Shine Dental Practice in July 2023. She qualified B.D.S in 2009, also completed Masters in Public Health from University of Wolverhampton in 2011. She also holds PG in Restorative and Operative dentistry . She enjoys cosmetic dentistry providing Invisalign, composite bonding, and/or veneers, also keen interested in General Dentistry doing Fillings, crown and bridge works, dentures. Her patients have often commented on her calm and caring attitude, which can put at ease even the most nervous patient.
She is completely driven and dedicated to her career in dentistry, she wants all of her patients to experience an immaculate care and attention at Shine Dental Practice. Outside of dentistry she has a passion for life, and an endless list of interests which includes: Art, dance, nature, travel, food, people, architecture, mindfulness, fitness and enjoys spending time with her family.
